    This is Grampa Charlie wishing you a late HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

    Eight years ago, my Mom left only a little more than a week before you came. Our sorrow at her leaving was immediately balanced by our joy at your coming.

    Many people who see your pictures here immediately know you are my grandson. I am of course flattered no end because you are handsome and I am ex-handsome.

    I hope and pray always that you stay healthy and out of harm’s way and you take your time learning all the things you want to know, the art that is so natural to you, and you have some good friends who are true.
